Anyone care to offer opinions on CU's new president? I haven't been on campus much so have missed the usual reactions & gossip among students & staff.
I have to admit I liked Lehman. I liked his Call to Engagement, and his making Sustainability one of three campus priorities, and the fact that he was the first alum president. His graduation address was a little loopy, but hey, you can't have everything.

Fri, July 7, 2006 - 3:19 PMYeah, I know what you mean.
I still can wonder: if Lehman and the board were in conflict about the direction of the university, and I was fully informed, whose side would I have taken? Whose side would MOST students and alums have taken? Universities are being increasingly corporatized (no surprise, given the composition of their boards of trustees) and I wonder if the conflict had to do with that.
